Who's Your Anchor?
The young father and mother watching their babies sleeping may wonder, what dreams will they realize?
Will they have a better life? Overcome the challenges of education, technology, an increasingly fragmented society, family, several occupations, innumerable temptations, and American quick fixes from food to health care to personal identity or lack thereof?
The list seems to go on and on. There is no shortage of sources of uncertainty.
The older fathers and mothers, Baby Boomers and up in years, see their sons and daughters, now adults themselves, and have similar questions.
Hellen Keller was right that there is no security in nature, in this troubled world.
But we can overcome uncertainty. It's essential to me and my family.
Who's Your Anchor?
Maybe it's your banker?
Good luck with the dollar, the Euro and the won.
A trip to Greece anyone?
Who's your rock?
It sure ain't the clock.
Time flies on, dawn to dawn, and before you can even yawn... Baby, it's gone.
Who's your security?
The source of love and purity.
God is the only person who can help me to defeat uncertainty.
"For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." - Philippians 1:6
