  • Pilgrims Progress - John Bunyan

This is a classic with its creative set of characters with perfectly fitting names and a plot that every Christian can easily identify with. I thoroughly enjoy reading and re-reading it to get a refresher of my christian journey in terms of what to look forward to and the current pitfalls as well. It's an exciting journey to the Celestial City with Bunyan!

  • Mere Christianity - C.S.Lewis

A challenging read from one of the brilliant minds of the twentieth century, Lewis amazed me in my early years as a Christian with his keen sense of observation and razor-sharp rhetoric to understand the Christian world-view and various aspects of Christian life and faith.

  • Future Grace -- John Piper

Future Grace opened many areas of my life as a Christian to God's gracious scrutiny and strengthened them in God's abundant, never-exhausting, extravagant and gratuitous grace that awaits me from now on and into eternity. It is incredible how this view of God's grace unlocks the power of God in our journey of faith and sanctification.

  • Knowing God - J.I. Packer

A profound yet simple treatise on the character of God, his relationship to us, his dealings with us in general and particularly through Jesus Christ in the gospel.

  • Overcoming Sin and Temptation - John Owen (Edited by Justin Taylor and Kelly Kapic)

This is a three-volume treatise on sin and temptation by puritan John Owen is a master piece in terms of its depth and the breadth of the treatment it gives to the topic. The book is far from a list of do's and dont's but offers a great insights into our fallen condition and the Spirit's essential role in the mortal combat of sin. It is a very challenging book to read but the fruit of the study will be worth the effort. An essential for every Christian man in his fight against sin!
